VERITAS INTERCONTINENTAL, S.L., with registered office in Madrid, Calle Orense 58, 2ºC-D, 28020 and VAT number B-88132907 makes available to all Internet users the possibility of acquiring the products and contract the services offered through this Website, the use of it is subject to these General Contracting Conditions and other legal texts of the site .

II. OBJECT

The purpose of these General Contracting Conditions is to regulate the acquisition of the products offered / services provided, on this Website. VERITAS INTERCONTINENTAL, through its platform makes its products and services available to all Internet users. The CUSTOMER by purchasing the products and contracting the services offered on the site declares to know and accept without reservation or any exception, each and every one of the General Contracting Conditions that in this document are exposed, being linked by them as they were drafted at the time of purchase. VERITAS INTERCONTINENTAL is able to restructure, modify or delete any information, service or content included in the Website, without prior notice. It will be essential to read and accept the General Contracting Conditions prior to the purchase of any product or services through the Website, the CUSTOMER must confirm the check box of the General Contracting Conditions. Through the Website, all registered CUSTOMERS will be provided with the possibility to access the contents, services and other information concerning the taxes and services offered therein. These General Conditions are entirely agreed between the parties with regard to online transactions of sale and provision of services between VERITAS INTERCONTINENTAL and its CUSTOMERS. The CUSTOMER must have the capacity to contract the service and acquire the products offered on the Website. In this way, only those over 18 years of age with sufficient capacity to contract can purchase the products and contract the services offered on the Website.

III. WEBSITE CONTENT AND ACTIONS

The information contained in this Website shall not be considered at any time neither complete nor exhaustive due to the varied range and the particularities of each of the existing products and services.

IV. PURCHASE PROCESS

Here are the steps you will take in the purchase process:

1. Selection of products / services: The CUSTOMER when entering the Website (or browsing the Website) may choose the desired products or services. All products or services appearing on the Website will be accompanied by a description, along with additional information and price (with the exception of the products in the myDiagnostic section which require an in-depth genetic counseling consultation to determine which product is appropriate for the person concerned). If the CUSTOMER decides to buy it, he/she must choose the “Add to cart” option in the product page. The products/services selected by the client will be added to the shopping cart.
2. Shopping Cart: Once the CUSTOMER or User has completed the selection process, he/she must click on the shopping cart symbol that will appear at all times in the upper right corner of the Website to continue the process or on the pop-up message that says “View cart”. There he/she will see a summary of the purchase, to facilitate the verification, and below the option of “Finalize purchase”. Afterwards he/she will be redirected to a purchase form for collecting the CUSTOMER and shipping details for the selected product. The CUSTOMER will be able to create an account in INTERCONTINENTAL VERITAS, or he/she will be able to enter his/her credentials if he/she has previously registered himself/herself.

ADDITIONAL NOTE All of our genetic tests require a medical prescription. If by any circumstance the acquired test could not be prescribed, the full amount of the test would be returned to the CUSTOMER. If after the pretest genetic counseling session, the genetic advisor determines that the CUSTOMER must have a genetic test of lower value to the acquired, VERITAS INTERCONTINENTAL would return the difference to the CUSTOMER.

V. SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY

The shipping time of the sample collection kit is 1 to 3 days for Spain and for the rest of Europe of a maximum of 5 days. In relation to returns these can only be effective as long as the sample collection kit has not been opened, i.e. the safety seal (transparent plastic or adhesive – depending on the kit) has not been removed or the kit handled. In case of return THE CUSTOMER will be responsible for the cost of collection of the kit.

The rights of Intellectual Property and rights of exploitation and reproduction of this website, its pages, screens, the information they contain, their appearance and design, as well as the links (hyperlinks) established from it to other websites, are VERITAS INTERCONTINENTAL property, unless otherwise specified. All the names, designs and/or logos that make up this page are duly registered trademarks. Any misuse of them by a person other than its rightful owner may be prosecuted in accordance with current legislation.
