Diagnostic Genetic Services
Who are they for?
GenomeDx and ExomeDx are intended for patients with a complex medical history or symptoms that suggest a genetic disease, even when other tests have been negative.
Diagnostic panels are intended for patients with a suspected hereditary condition, they are directed for specific diseases.
The purpose of the tests is to support and guide treatment decisions and clinical management options, facilitating patient prognosis when possible.
How it works
STEP 1
The specialist prescribes the Dx service selected, and provides the patient’s clinical and family history to the Veritas clinical team.
STEP 2
A saliva or blood sample from the patient must be provided.
STEP 3
Veritas sends the report to the specialist. The Veritas Clinical team is available to advise the physician.
Targeted Panels Portfolio
Diagnostic panels facilitate genetic diagnosis via sequencing of the whole EXOME and the subsequent interpretation of a subset of genes related to a specific condition.
They are intended for cases where there is a suspicion of disease.
